Q1 2026: 47 shipments delivered across MENA — zero compliance actions
In Q1 2026, GHM delivered 47 discrete shipments across 11 MENA destination countries. Total insured value exceeded USD 4.2 million. Zero compliance actions were raised by banks, customs authorities, or destination regulators during the period — a posture we will continue to publish quarterly.
Volume by category
Respiratory care equipment — CPAPs, BiPAPs, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers — represented 62 percent of the Q1 shipment volume by unit count and 71 percent by insured value. The skew toward respiratory care reflects two underlying realities: it is the largest category in our catalogue, and it is the category where our manufacturer relationships (MIR, ResMed, BMC Medical) are deepest.
The remaining 38 percent split across home monitoring (20 percent), professional medical equipment such as ICU ventilators and cough-assist devices (11 percent), and mobility and rehabilitation (7 percent). The professional medical share is small in unit terms but large in clinical impact — three teaching hospitals took delivery of ICU-grade ventilators in Q1, each commissioned with on-site biomedical training.
Volume by destination
Algeria, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia accounted for 64 percent of Q1 shipment value. The remaining 36 percent spread across the UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman, and Pakistan. Pakistan's share grew quarter-on-quarter, reflecting our DRAP regulatory translation work coming on line in late 2025.
Lead-time distribution: 78 percent of shipments cleared within their committed window, 19 percent cleared within 48 hours of the committed window, and 3 percent slipped further — in every slip case, the cause was port-side congestion in destination, not GHM-side or manufacturer-side delay. We document every slip with root cause and report it to the affected buyer within the same business day.
Operational benchmarks
Average first-reply-to-RFQ time held at 19 business hours across Q1 — under our 24-hour public commitment. Average documentation turnaround for non-LC transactions came in at 3.6 business days, and at 4.7 business days for LC transactions. Cold-chain integrity on temperature-controlled shipments stood at 100 percent — every consignment landed within its specified temperature envelope, verified by sensor logs.
These are the numbers we run the business by. We will publish Q2 2026 in early July.
